Scheme of Regularisation of Unauthorised Layouts

Through the unapproved layout regularisation scheme 32387 plots in 761 unapproved layouts are regularized in Coimbatore out of 37567 unapproved plots through which an amount of Rs.42.50crores is collected as Regularisation fee. The achievement is almost 99% which stood first in the State. The remaining plots cannot be regularised for the reason that they do not confirm the eligibility conditions and 2570 plots in 93 layouts are declared as excess land under Land Ceiling Act. Thus the site approval issue in the unapproved layouts in Coimbatore has been solved almost. The basic amenities are provided in all these regularised layouts using the amount collected as Regularisation fee.
