Town Planning Scheme Road Formation

The following scheme roads are formed in 2010 at an estimated cost of Rs.15.1 crores by availing the fund from the LPA and the Government and now these roads are acting as very good link and are being used very much by the public.

1. Renga Vilas Mill road to a length of 3kms
2. Masakalipalayam road to a length of 201m.
3. SNR College road to a length of 800m
4. CODISSIA road to a length of 1.12km

A policy decision was taken in 2010-11 Corporation budget to allot Rs.2.0crores every year for the development of scheme roads. Accordingly, 2 scheme roads connecting Perur road through Ganga garden, Ponnaiahrajapuram junction, AKS Nagar with Thadagam road is proposed at an estimate cost of Rs.2.70crores including land cost for the year 2010-11.
